About the Role
We are seeking a talented and Production Coordinator to join our dreamy AU Designer client. In this role you will play a vital part in ensuring the timely and high quality production of collection pieces. You will manage fabric testing, coordinate local production processes and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
In this role you will:
Manage the end to end process from design handover to bulk production and product delivery, including ordering raw materials, trims, labels, and packaging items.
Coordinate freight for bulk fabrics and trims, negotiating costs, and ensuring delivery timelines are met with budget.
Issue production materials to local makers, including trim bags, labels, and production samples.
Process and verify invoices for makers, freight, and rw materials to meet payment deadlines.
Communicate with suppliers to achieve production milestones and ensure in-time delivery
Oversee local production schedules, including marker printing, cutting schedules, and make sheets.
Conduct fabric testing, report results, and updates care instructions accordingly.
Assist the Local Production Manager with production fittings and address quality and fit inquiries.
Supervise the Production Assistant and QC team to meet production goals
You’re a fit if you…
Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Production Coordinator role
Hold a tertiary qualification in fashion design or a related field.
Possess advanced proficiency in AP21
Excel in written and verbal communication, with strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Have experience liaising with local suppliers.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt flexibly to changing priorities.
Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
